An unrivalled harmonica player who possesses a distinct sound and good beat, Martin Goyette is a devotee of blues and jazz as well as funk and soul. It is the different influences which drive his style and his gravelly voice which set him apart from the others. A true artist.
Recipient of numerous Maple Blues awards, the long-time blues singer, producer of the year and author-composer of the year, Angel Forrest has not stopped climbing the ranks. The unique timbre of her voice and her fiery personality have allowed her to conquer the hearts of thousands of blues fans.
Sara Dufour presents energetic country-style folk music with a beat which you’ll want to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty to. Her first album, “Convenience store Pierrette”, talks about “slices of life” clouded in the fumes of gasoline and takes you on an adventure dotted with humour and spontaneity.
The Montréal duo, Les Deuxluxes, have solid nerves and are overflowing with attitude. Armed with powerful voices, a minimalist rhythm section and two untethered guitars, they offer a generous and flamboyant mix of rock’n’roll. A great luxury.
Paul Deslauriers Band
Returning from the 2017 Maple Blues awards with their arms full of the awards for “Electric artist of the year” and “Entertainer of the year”, Paul Deslauriers takes his place as one of Canada’s elite guitarists. A must see show.
Danae, the Parisian with Caribbean roots, founded the trio Delgres with the drummer Baptiste Brondy and the Sousaphone player Rafgee. With the sound of the old Dobro guitar playing, they dance around the Créole language of Guadeloupe and take us on a journey from New Orleans to Pointe a Pitre, tracing the historic line between the French West Indies and Lousiana with music.
Pulling on a variety of influences from Boogie-woogie to New Orleans R&B, Deanna Bogart is one of the most eclectic artists of contemporary blues. The exceptionally talented composer, singer, pianist and saxophonist from Detroit offers a show which is overflowing with energy.
Winner of 14 trophies at the Lys Blues Awards and the title of “Harmonica Player of the Year” at the Maple Blues Awards 2015, Guy Bélanger has collaborated with more than 60 French and Quebecois artists including Céline Dion, Bob Walsh and the Cirque du Soleil. He is one the greatest harmonica players of contemporary blues.
Matt Andersen & The Bona Fide
Winner of Memphis’ prestigious and world renowned International Blues Challenge in 2010, Matt Andersen most recently won the title of Male Vocalist of the year at the 2017 Maple Blues Awards. A true master of blues who deserves many honours, the singer-songwriter shows a purity of expression, an exceptional voice and an incomparable guitar playing style.
At barely twenty years old, the musical ingenuity of Simon Kearney is defined by his songs and his guitar playing. Urban poetry with an astonishing honesty, his performance explodes with a singular and festive energy.
Édouard Lagacé et Claudia Bouvette
The former contestant of “La Voix” (The Voice), Edouard Lagace is a guitarist, songwriter and performer. He is accompanied by Claudia Bouvette, a singer and actress. Together they offer a warm and welcoming folk and folk-rock show.
A Haitian-American who was born in New York and is living in New Orleans, Leyla McCalla plays the cello, banjo and guitar. Deeply influenced by traditional Créole, Cajun and Haitian music, as well as jazz and American folklore, her music is earthy, elegant and full of spirit.

The Michigan native and princess of “Rockin gospel Blues” honours us with her first to Sherblues and Folk. Accompanied by a team who are funky and compelling, Sharrie is radiant on stage. Her thirst for music and her comfort at each of her shows is palpable. A person who will seduce many people!

Carl Tremblay has made his name as a Quebec blues legend. A showman who cannot be equalled, his energetic shows are a roller coaster of emotions. Accompanied by a number of guest harmonica players, he directs the Harmonica Happening with the hand of a master. Guaranteed to release tension.
The most gifted guitar prodigy in the world, Quinn Sullivan started playing his first notes on the guitar at the age of five. He learned and truly mastered the guitar under the guidance of his mentor and discoverer, Buddy Guy. Quinn Sullivan, a virtuoso, whose guitar playing will seduce all fans of the blues.
The multi-instrumentalist with a sharp pen, Samuele shares her intimate poetry set to a folk-rock arrangement with strong blues overtones. Samuele mixes songs and the spoken word to deliver a show of disarming honesty.
The former hockey player, Jonathan Roy, continues his musical rise and we present the folk-soul hybrid, “Mr. Optimist Blues”. His voice is full of passion and provides a striking example of tainted blues. A captivating performance for the opening of Sherblues and Folk.
Boppin Blues Band
The guitarist and singer Mike Goudreau gratifies us with his bracing blues. He delivers a full and well-rounded swing sound with astounding precision and finesse. With his accomplices, “the Boppin Blues Band”, Mike offers a judicious mix of interpretations and compositions.
